Ingredients:

3-4 grenades
500 g of sugar (the amount can be adjusted depending on your sweetness preferences)
1 lemon (juice and zest)

Instructions:

Extraction of pomegranate seeds:

Cut the pomegranate in half. Squeeze the juice from the pomegranate halves into a bowl, separating the grains from the membranes. Repeat this process with the rest of the grenades.

Making jam:

Transfer the pomegranate juice and grains to a saucepan.
Add sugar, lemon juice and zest. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Cooking until ready:

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for about 40-50 minutes. Stir occasionally.
The jam will be ready when it becomes thick and acquires a bright color.

Packaging in cans:

Sterilize jars and lids.
Fill the jars with hot jam, leaving a small gap on top.
Cover the jars with lids and wrap them so that they gradually cool down.

Keeping:

After complete cooling, the jam is ready for use.
Store in a cool and dark place.
